Rediculous...This Is A Problem...

It's pretty self evident...but there is NO reason why children should be around some "I eat the pussy music"...not only this, but people in the audience not speaking on it...that's a very serious problem, that should be voiced in the community...sure...freedom of speech is supposed to be one of the "perks" of living in the states; however, there should be some humility when around anyone under the age of 17, talking about "sucking s**t out of someones ass".......seriously.

KANYE OR DOC SAVAGE???

beatman
Whats good ya'll! so i know i am a little late on this, but if you didn't already know, twista has a newer song out entitled "I Can Make You Say". This song is a mid tempo banger that features prince in a sample heard frequently through out the tune. Since the song leaked, many people are quick to say the song is a Chicago collab starring Twista and produced by Kanye West.
BUT it really is a slap Doc Savage sold to Twista (GMG Entertainment)for his upcoming album. Sources have said that since the prince sample could not be cleared, the song has been used on a mixtape to promote the upcoming album.....(Problem. Doc Savage was not notified about this). The contract basically stated that Doc Savage would get 1 pt on the album, production credits, and $1200. Mr. Savage received his money at least six months ago, but was not notified about the mix up with the song not being cleared. As a businessman myself, I would say that is unacceptable and would likely do some things about that but Doc seems to be satisfied with his money, so what can I do. But just so you know who's music it really is that you like. Doc Savage made that beat. We may make a video about this situation soon enough seeing how we have the beat on Fruity Loops and the contract, but i figured i would throw this up for now. Whether Kanye was involved in taking credit or not I don't know but if it were me, I would clear it up quick to avoid getting a bad rep.

THE SONG TWISTA PRODUCED BY DOC SAVAGE

HERE IS THE FIRST PAGE OF AN EARLY VERSION OF THE CONTRACT..

You Already Know...My Idol Is GONE...and I hope YOU are not the reason why...

MICHAEL JACKSON...THE KING...Is Gone...

Okay...I am not going to be long winded with this, but I have a few things to say about the passing of my Idol...Michael Jackson. One, I cannot believe this is happening...so soon. I used to tell everyone that beyond the passing of my mom, dad, grandmother, etc, Michael Jackson, would be right up there with them. He is the only person I would be interested in going to a concert for. Ever since I was 4 years old, my aunts told me how I used to sing "Man In The Mirror", in the mirror everytime it played. I was doing the moonwalk with my friends in the hallways of my school in my wingtips...in highschool, I wore one of my church usher gloves down the hallways (even though they weren't studded), just because, it was like Mike...I never met him, but I feel like I lost apart of myself...

I know there is a lot of opinion surrounding the life of the King, and I feel most of it was bullshit. I am going to go as far as saying Michael Jackson could have lived a long, happy life, but he wasn't happy, and it was 1. Because of the media...and 2. The people that believed the media...and if you are one of those guilt participants...yes...then I am talking to YOU. Michael Jackson, if you did not notice, had a child spirit...he was almost innocent in my opinion. People were constantly trying to take advantage of him because he seemed so oblivious and I HATE the people who did this to him...yes...HATE the people who did this. Whether it be those of all social and ethnic backgrounds...He was a damn legend, and the overwhelming majority of the negativity that was spewed was in the pursuit of a green dollar...so from me to you...if you are the guilty person...Fuck You...You Killed Michael...

I hate the music industry folks who banned his music in the states, saying his album(s) flopped when they went platinum in every other country in the world. I Hate You too...because now you are going to make money off of his passing with "Greatest Hit's Albums"...I Hate You. I am saddened by the stress he must have constantly felt when people looked at him and said "wacko jacko"...you guys should be ASHAMED.

I can go on and on, but to sum it up, ever since I was a little kid, anything unreasonably negative said about M.J. I took it just as seriously as if he were my brother, and I miss him just the same. I actually teared up when I heard the news. I will forever be saddened by his untimely death and he will never never never be forgotten. I miss you M.J...the King...is gone, and I truly believe I will have a chip on my shoulder for the rest of my life towards those who disrespected him, because it really shows the truly disgusting and unfortunately, familiar face of human nature......I'm ashamed.

Mike...my whole family misses you. Thank you for your inspiration, influence on other artist, talent, stage presence, style, and innocence. There will be none closer to you in influence for at least the next 100 years, and you will be remembered until the end of time...man......

I'm out

I miss you M.J. Rest In Peace...

Irv Gotti Keeping It.....REAL.

Hey wussup folks, this is blackbox here. I was at the office and browsing for some watching material, and I stumbled on to this from MTV with him discussing the claim that Eminem was the greatest rapper alive...I kind of used to think of Irv Gotti as a questionable character; however, I must say that his analysis of Eminem...brings up VERY VERY good points...PROPS.

BREAKING: Max B Found Guilty In 2006 Murder Case,

BREAKING: Max B Found Guilty In 2006 Murder Case, "[He] Took His Verdict Like A Man" | SOHH.com

Shared via SOHH.com

Former Byrd Gang associate Charles "Max B" Wingate has reportedly been found guilty on multiple felony murder conspiracy charges stemming from a fatal 2006 robbery.

While details are still scarce, the rapper has reportedly been detained by police after being read a guilty verdict Tuesday (June 9) morning.

Max B's verdict was announced just moments ago in the Bergen County Court House. He along with his brother were found guilty of 9 out of 11 counts. Max B was detained immediately. His sentencing date is set for July 30, 2009. Witnesses state Max B kept his head up and "took his verdict like a man". He did not break down once and remained strong through the entire verdict. His attorney plans to appeal the verdict. (Hip Hop Stan)

Max previously spoke on his legal case and prepared for his trial earlier this year.

"I'm just gonna leave it up to God and my lawyer Gerald Saluti, you know," he said in an interview. "Everything will work out. I'm just gonna let him do his job. I'm here on time. I'm at every court appearance, you know, I'm just here. People stay strong for me. Keep the support up." (Max B TV)

It was Max' former girlfriend who accepted a plea deal and implicated him in a fatal robbery.

Gina Conway and two others were charged with murder after a botched robbery at the Holiday Inn on Route 4 ended in the shooting death of one of the victims in September 2006. Conway met David Taylor and Allan "Jay" Plowden and told her boyfriend that the two men drove flashy cars and carried a lot of cash. The boyfriend, Charly "Max B" Wingate then recruited an associate to rob Taylor and Plowden, prosecutors said. (North Jersey News)

Max's laywer, Gerald Saluti, previously spoke with SOHH about Max's trial.

"It doesn't hurt his case in the least bit. You're talking about a person facing anywhere from 30 years to life basically attempting to snitch against Max and Kelvin Leerdam," Saluti said. "It is our position that Max B will be completely vindicated after the trial, which I think will be starting in April -- I relish the opportunity to cross examine Gina Conway." (SOHH)

THE REAL QUESTION ABOUT THIS...WAS HE REALLY GUILTY...OR WAS THE SYSTEM DOING ITS JOB...NOTHING AT ALL...

keep it wavy max b! we're rootin for ya!...or at least blackbox is :)

Found this...A Few Folks In Israel Seem To Have An "Obama Problem"

Wussup! This is blackbox here. I can't say I am a big fan of Obama, nor any of the other presidents...I am very opinionated on this idea of presidents...so instead of me expressing mine, I will say that those folks out there...though drunk are...extremely stupid. People tend to make excuses...blaming their behavior on their consumption; however, what it really is, is that PEOPLE DO WHAT THEY WANTED TO DO ANYWAY...EASIER. Interested in your opinion(s):

THINK R.I.C.H. CAMPAIGN

Wussup folks, this is blackbox here. I am a big fan of entrepreneurship. I come from a line of entrepreneurs, my father built a computer company from the ground up, and other relatives I have observed put me into a mindset of working for self...not others. With this being said, I believe over at least three years ago I was observing this company called ELUSION CLOTHING and right off top, I could tell they were going to be doing big things...the style is just...on some other stuff...but very catchy and appealing...and for ME to say that...says a lot...because I like GOOD STUFF.

Anyway, even though I am not a big shot...yet, I still keep in contact with the folks because I love their work. Though I am workin on my own projects, I have to give props where they are due, and these guys at ELUSION CLOTHING got that STUFF.

I got an email about a very positive campaign that they have going on called THINK R.I.C.H. and this is the email I received in my inbox:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey what's up. We have a big-time campaign going on and we need all of
the help we can get. If you could post this on your blog prior to or
on Friday, May 1st, we'd appreciate it greatly. It's for a good cause.

Here's a little information on the campaign...

THIS IS SERIOUS. AND YOU CAN PLAY A PART. THINK R.I.C.H. IS A CAMPAIGN
STARTING MAY 1, 2009. THE CAMPAIGN IS AIMING TOWARD THE YOUTH IN
AMERICA. EVERYDAY, KIDS ARE KILLED IN THE STREETS. WITH THREATS OF
SPORTS AND MUSIC BEING REMOVED FROM SCHOOLS, WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING.
ELUSION CLOTHING IS DOING THEIR PART WITH THIS CAMPAIGN. HALF OF THE
PROCEEDS FROM EACH SALE WILL BE DONATED TO YOUTH MENTORING AND AFTER
SCHOOL PROGRAMS IN AMERICA. IF THE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS CAN IMPROVE,
MAYBE WE CAN KEEP KIDS OFF THE STREETS AND REDUCE CRIME AND VIOLENCE.

I KNOW IT'S A RECESSION. WE ARE NOT TRYING TO BREAK YOUR POCKETS WITH
THIS. THE TEES WILL ONLY BE 15 DOLLARS. THAT CHEAP! AND OVER 20 COLORS
WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR SALE. WOMENS AND CHILDRENS SIZES WILL ALSO BE
AVAILABLE.

MAY 1ST, THE SHIRTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. NEXT WEEK, WE WILL
HAVE PRE-ORDER AVAILABLE. IT'S BETTER TO BE ANNOYED FOR SOMETHING LIKE
THIS THAN A PARTY ON THE WEEKEND. EVERYONE CAN HELP INSTEAD OF ALWAYS
COMPLAINING. NOTHING IS GOING TO CHANGE IF WE DONT DO SOMETHING ABOUT
IT. OUR GOAL IS TO SELL 1 MILLION SHIRTS BY SEPTEMBER 1ST.

PEACE AND LOVE,

We are going to be doing a few mixtapes and really getting work done. A few very interesting things have been coming up. We were supposed to meet up with some of our people who were supposed to be flying out a few weeks ago, but there was a delay because one of the artist got signed and now they are filming a video out in Florida (Big Ups On That Folk!). I personally plan on making a few trips up north and hopefully I can get to Detroit too to check out some things that are happening out there as well.

On a funny note, my dude Beatman came out to my city and he was frustrated because the ipod mini that he was trying to help get working for the lady, he felt, was acting a little funny...u know why? Because it was BOOTLEG!!! Now don't get me wrong, I do not mind the idea of bootleged stuff. I say stick it to the big guys...but THIS RIGHT HERE...was outa hand haha peep the video!

My Bad

Wussup folks! This is blackbox here I was supposed to be updating this thing regularly...but I have good reason(s) for why I couldn't...mainly...hella homework and homework:
1. I don't like
2. Makes me tired :)

ANYWAY
Lotta stuff I been up to, one thing I will mention is that I made some purchases over the last few weeks to step my gear game up...by the way...I don't use the word swag...its played out and needs to be buried...deep. Anyway, peep the scene while I listen to my big homie's podcase @ www.arepafunk.com:

So I went out on the town and copped these hats:
Photobucket
I think they are pretty clean. One is like a patent leather fitted from alife that is super crazy. I copped supreme hat (the one with the S's) and the other two are TAKEOUT. Apparently they are exclusives through New Era...either way, I copped every hat I saw, just because I didn't want anyone else to cop em lol. Check out a few more close ups:

I've been looking all over twitter to find a connect for Young Joc...I'm sure if he has one, on twitter, it isin't legit (got a lot of wannabe's on there), but I have this track, and we are pretty confident that if he heard it, it would be a winner...foreal. They say that there is power in numbers, so I am going to post this video up...showing the track...and I'ma promote my ass off and see if this 7 degrees of seperation is legit! If anyone knows anything hit me on my twitter or damn it shoot me a line on my email at boxgotbeats@gmail.com! Help us out!!!!!!!!

EVERYONE KNOWS US...LET'S GET IT.

Blog readers...what it dewey. Got an update or two for ya. Well basically, I, blackbox, have had this digital camera and I was really too lazy to do this footage...oh...wait...I talked about this in the previous blog lmao. But basically, we are going to be doing this...series...I guess you can call it...and its gonna be "EVERYONE KNOWS US: "THE CORPORATION".

The reason we re doing this is that, just like other artist or individuals looking for a way to showcase what you can do, you need an Internet footprint...this is crucial, especially these days...low key, when I was talking to beatman, I didn't even want to show people what music program we have as our centerpiece tool, that, being FL Studio (Fruity Loops for you old heads). But he said, "that is exactly why you should put it up", because people get a lot of shit for using FL...basically because they say you cannot produce good sound or its not flexible, or only people who are just amatures, ect ect...and I really don't have time to deal with the bullshit (excuse my Igbo...insider).

But...at the same time...that is not the case...we do play all of our music, and we are VERY proficient...so we are going to showcase this...in excess...and hopefully you can help us spread the word as well. We have had a lot of support from a lot of folks over the years, people putting us on their "top" on myspace like we were affiliate with them (lol...seriously), and it made us really feel good that people respected our potential...4 real.

With that, I am going to drop the first video of "EVERYONE KNOWS US: "THE CORPORATION" where me, blackbox and beatman were kickin it at his crib and we show a minor slap...just to break the ice :)...I am hella excited to see where this goes...

ALSO...I ALL THREE OF US ARE GOING TO BE BLOGGING ON HERE...ON RANDOM OCCASIONS...SO LOOK OUT FOR THAT!!! IT'S GONNA BE QUITE INTERESTING! FASHO FASHO!

I See You Joezy! Waddap Tho!

Wuddup world! BlackBox...ya very best of friends is here with ya. I'm actually bloggin from my car...I have this crazy setup man, where I'm using my phone to connect to my laptop, wirelessly. I'm a nerd @ heart...and I LIKE IT. Nothin wrong with being savvy or technology adept in any way. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER (FOR REAL). Anyway, I just wanted to update the world on what I have been up to.

I got a call from my patna Mr. Joezy Wellz aka The Talk Of The Town that he is going to lace a track with none other than San Quinn. He's a real big artist up in Northern California, and of course, they are gonna lace it up with one of those special BLACKBOX trizziez (please...please...no applause...its my off day j/k). So if San Quinn is peepin this, bra I appreciate it, and of course, Joezy...u already kno what it is ma dude. Every time I'm in Sac, ma dude and the whole familia treat me like I am a lost relative lol.

What else...man I busted my damn midi keyboard man, I made so many damn tracks on it, but I knew it was only a matter of time. I low key want to make an attempt at fixing it, but I don't know, I might let it go to the keyboard graveyard. I SURE did beat the hell out of it though...but maybe its time for a change.

Oh yea!!! I am putting together footage of me, beatman and docsavage together so you can check us out man doin what we do best! SLAPPIN like a old man with weak kneecaps. Oooowww. Stay tuned for that...I'm sure its gonna suprise ya.

Also, sheesh...I need to figure out how to get more people reading this crap lmao. It's coo right now...I need to build it up neway.

Iight Ima get off before my laptop shuts down...I need to get home neway :)

LMAOO!!! WTF???

Lmao if I was this kid I would have a face mask on too...SMFH...ROFL.

I'm gonna really try to use this for a while lmao.

So I shook to the stizzy for a minute and returned this 4 gigs of memory, because it was over capacity for my computer (I was trying to stuff it with 8 gigs and I couldn't...sucks). Got my money and went to best buy and was going to buy some over priced ipod that I know I didn't need, but somehow I convinced myself that I didn't need it and I picked up this 4 gig deally that I am actually impressed with:
Photobucket
It was 80 bucks and its so small. It's cool for me so when I am around, I can listen to different stuff that is going on in the world. I don't really ever listen to music...ima test it out and see how it goes.

Ill probably keep it on the randomized setting so I can check out these cd's I have been scooping up...oh yea...I've been getting a lot of cd's I'm grinding real heavy right now, just trying to open my mind about different variations of stuff...I'm interested in music from other regions, might as well see what is going on out there! Check it out!:
Photobucket

So I'm doin the damn thing! I hope you are too! Hit me up on twitter!
-I'm Out!

I was HELLA PISSED!!!

Yo wuddap. I'm over here hecka tired and all that. Blogging because I said I was going to try and stick with it :). Anyway, today was cool, talked to the folks (folks being beatman and docsavage). We were trying to update each other with what we have been up to and everything. I got a call today that a track I did made the cut, and apparently that is a very good thing. So I had to track the file out and send it over to Detroit. I was kinda paranoid because the crap would not render! I was trying to call both of them and no friggin body would pick up their phones. I was so frustrated, and then it was the most simple thing I had to do. Sometimes rendering tracks is so time consuming...because it takes time to upload. I mean the file I sent out was over 200mb and I compressed it to 80mb, and it still took 45 minutes to upload.
Photobucket

I'm supposed to hear back from that situation pretty soon. Let's see what happens! (But damn...I was so frustrated, I almost walked out of the room...lawd have mercy!)

I'm gonna go pick up some stuff from the store, I'm sure ill have an update for ya.

50 Really Is Keepin It REAL Hear Folks

This is a blunt representation of the plight of being an artist...It's real...I hear stories like this every day...

Wussuperz!

Yo folks, so its blackbox, I'm back in the building with some updates. I went to a crazy smooth music business seminar on my campus yesterday, Cal State Northridge (waddap CSUN! I See U!) with my bra beatman and my lady. I didn't think it was gonna be legit...but damn....it was a NICE ass panel of people like Brian Kennedy (Grammy Award Winning Producer), Ernie Singleton (former head of MCA Records) and others (if you didn't notice...those are people who are interested in helping people...especially Mr. Singleton...check em out. Anyway I came out with a whole slew of contacts, because I guess me and beatman were really the only producers that were @ the event! Talk about good timing.

What I do find dissapointing however, is that I never found out anything about the event when it was apparently announced a WHILE ago. I am even looking on the school student union website as I am typing this and there wasn't anything there...that's pretty dissapointing.

One thing I think I should share to the readers about this experience was something one of the gentlemen said, he basically said...take advantage of your situation. Especially for those of you who are like me, and live in California...take advantage of the resources you have. We have many opportunities, as artists, and producers to communicate with more artist than most because most people fly out here frequently to record at our studio's...so make yourself noticable, and you will gain the attention you are looking for...if you don't show up, how are they going to know you are there...

But also...

If you do come...please...please...come correct. :)

3 Stars...1 Corporation

Wussuperz Folks. Welcome to the blog spizzy. First of all, we're futuristic...so if some of the words we say are on some flotatious vibes, then just bear with us...you'll catch on lol. So yea, we decided to make this blog, to get a little word out to our fans about what we are up to, and all that...nothin too serious...we don't really blog...we don't really seem to find the time to do stuff like this...but bare with us...we are gonna see what we can do aiight! Aiight...So...Where do we start?

*Pow*

The quickest way to put this together is we, Beatman, DocSavage, and Blackbox all met at around the same time (really...beatman and doc sav went to highschool together out in Vallejo (Northern California for you out of touch people), and beatman ran into blackbox, from Southern California, in college...they both go to CSUN (yes...college is a MUST). We decided to come together and after various names, came up with The Corporation...musically talented....business minded....

On here, you will learn more about us, what we do musically, music we produced (artist wise) and maybe we will shoot out some tips on how to fine tune your music (for the aspiring producers) and other stuff. We're gonna freestyle it yadig.

So...in synopsis...we are The Corporation and we have slaps...we're all family...we're cool as beach breeze....and we go quite hard ;D. Holla @ us wheneva its cleva.
